1,000 food baskets are distributed by KSrelief in Pakistan's Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 1,000 food baskets in Pakistan’s Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regions, benefiting 5,947 individuals.


Islamabad, January 6, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has recently concluded a significant food aid distribution effort in Pakistan, delivering 1,000 food baskets across the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regions. The distribution, which took place on Wednesday, benefited a total of 5,947 individuals from some of the most vulnerable communities in areas severely impacted by flash floods.


This initiative is part of the 2025 Food Security Support Project, designed to provide critical humanitarian assistance to communities facing food insecurity. The food baskets contained essential items, ensuring that the recipients, who are grappling with the aftermath of the devastating floods, have access to vital nutrition.


KSrelief's aid is a crucial part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to supporting global humanitarian needs, particularly in countries facing crises. This project highlights Saudi Arabia’s determination to enhance food security and alleviate the hardships faced by communities in Pakistan, reflecting the Kingdom’s broader humanitarian vision and efforts to provide sustainable relief to those in need around the world.
