1,201 food baskets are distributed in Chad by KSrelief.

KSrelief distributed 1,201 food baskets in Chad’s Lake Region, benefiting 7,206 individuals as part of the 2024 food-security support project aimed at alleviating food insecurity.

N'Djamena, December 18, 2024 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued its vital efforts to address food insecurity in Africa by distributing 1,201 food baskets in the Lake Region of the Republic of Chad. The assistance, provided on Sunday, benefited 7,206 individuals, including vulnerable families and displaced persons facing dire conditions due to ongoing humanitarian challenges.


This distribution is part of KSrelief’s 2024 food-security support project in Chad, designed to provide relief to those suffering from the adverse effects of regional conflicts, displacement, and economic instability. The food baskets, carefully curated to meet the essential nutritional needs of the affected population, contain vital supplies such as grains, pulses, and cooking oil, offering families the resources needed to sustain themselves during this difficult time.
