10,000 handcarts and 251 golf carts are provided by the General Authority for Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques in advance of the 1445 AH Hajj season

The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque is launching 251 golf carts for the upcoming Hajj season in Makkah in 2024.

For the 2024 Hajj season in Makkah, the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque is providing 251 golf carts.


Ten thousand handcarts are prepared for the pilgrims to use on the way to the Grand Mosque.


The operational plan targets 35,000 individuals daily and 10,000 handcart pushers at the end of the Hajj season.



Makkah, 5 June 2024. 251 units of golf cars are to be put into service by the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque in the framework of the operational plan for this year's Hajj season. The authorities have also prepared 10,000 handcarts for pilgrims to use during their visit to the Grand Mosque. The Grand Mosque and its courtyards now boast a total of twenty sites. The total number of sites has increased. The distribution sites aim to maintain a maximum operating rate of 100%, with an operational plan to serve 35,000 individuals daily. In addition, the plan intends to offer 10,000 handcart pushers by the time the Hajj season of this year comes to a close in 1445 AH. This will make the pilgrimage to the Hajj as convenient as possible.
