Riyadh, August 2, 2023, In the first half of 2023, an impressive 22.7 million attendees participated in General Entertainment Authority (GEA) activities across 120 cities and governorates in Saudi Arabia. This remarkable achievement further highlights the success of the GEA. The GEA activities over the first six months of this year were organized in major cities and several governorates across the Kingdom to provide entertainment for both residents and visitors. During H1 2023, the GEA diligently worked on developing new features aimed at enhancing the participation of attendees in its entertainment activities and festivals dedicated to games and shopping. The authority has also created numerous job opportunities and made efforts to diversify economic activities, recognizing the importance of entertainment in strengthening social bonds for families and promoting prosperity.
