16th International Honey Festival in Al-Baha Concludes


The Branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture organized and funded the sixteenth International Honey Festival, which was held at Al-Baha on August 6, 2024. Twenty tons of honey representing twenty-five varieties were on display at the event, with an emphasis on evaluating each type's origin and quality.


During the event, workshops and seminars on scientific and technological developments as well as best practices in beekeeping, honey production, and preservation were held with the goal of encouraging the growth of honey production and beekeeping enterprises.


August 6, 2024, at Al-Baha. The sixteenth International Honey Festival concluded its proceedings on Sunday in Al-Baha. Ninety beekeepers from Saudi Arabia and other countries attended the event, which was organized and funded by the Branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in Al-Baha.


Director General of the Ministry's Branch in Al-Baha, Engineer Fahad Al-Zahrani, said that twenty tons of honey representing twenty-five distinct varieties were on display at the festival. To ascertain the quality and provenance of each and every one of these honeys, we thoroughly inspected each one.


Workshops aimed at encouraging the growth of beekeeping and honey production were also held throughout the event. The latest developments in science and technology, as well as the finest methods for beekeeping, producing honey, and preserving it, were covered at these seminars.
