Beirut, February 2, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued its essential support for vulnerable populations in Lebanon through the ongoing fourth phase of the Al-Amal Charitable Bakery Project. In the past week, the project distributed an impressive 175,000 bags of bread to families in need across Lebanon’s Akkar Governorate and Miniyeh District. This distribution directly benefited 62,500 individuals, including Syrians, Palestinians, and members of the host community, covering a total of 12,500 families in northern Lebanon.
The Al-Amal Charitable Bakery Project is one of many initiatives supported by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, aimed at providing critical food aid to refugees and vulnerable populations affected by ongoing crises. Bread, a staple of many diets, serves as a crucial source of sustenance for families living under challenging conditions. The program not only addresses food insecurity but also fosters stability and dignity for those who have been displaced or marginalized by conflict and economic hardship.
This initiative underscores the Kingdom’s steadfast commitment to humanitarian efforts in Lebanon and other parts of the Middle East. Through projects like the Al-Amal Charitable Bakery, KSrelief continues to alleviate suffering, support refugees, and strengthen its partnerships with host communities, providing life-saving assistance to those who need it most.
As part of Saudi Arabia’s broader humanitarian goals, KSrelief’s relief efforts reflect the Kingdom’s enduring commitment to alleviating the suffering of vulnerable populations worldwide, especially in regions grappling with the challenges of displacement, poverty, and conflict.
