17th Al-Jouf Olive Festival hosts seven countries, begins February 10

Sakaka, February 16, 2024, The 17th International Al-Jouf Olive Festival, which commenced on February 10 at the Prince Abdulilah Urban Center in Sakaka, has drawn the participation of seven countries. Running until February 19, the festival has captured the attention of olive aficionados worldwide. Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkiye, Tunisia, Egypt, and Jordan are the featured nations in this iteration, each presenting a diverse array of products and cultural performances over the course of the ten-day event.

Omar bin Abdulaziz Al-Hamwan, the festival's CEO, emphasized the significant international presence of the event in promoting Al-Jouf's olive products both locally and on the global stage. Moreover, the festival serves as a platform for the exchange of experiences and technologies, fostering cultural and civilizational dialogue, and championing values of tolerance and coexistence. In showcasing the Kingdom's rich culture and heritage to the world, while also spotlighting the unique offerings of participating nations, the festival serves as a vibrant celebration of diversity and mutual appreciation.
