1st Group of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Umrah Visits King Fahd Complex for Holy Quran

The group also visited historic Islamic sites, including the Uhud battle site, Jabal Al-Rumat, and Uhud Martyrs Square, deepening their understanding of Madinah's historical and spiritual significance.
The first group of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Umrah visited the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Madinah, where they learned about the complex's process of printing and preserving the Holy Quran, including translations in various languages.

Madinah, November 24, 2024 – As part of the cultural activities designed for the guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Umrah and Visitation of 1446 AH, the first group of distinguished visitors embarked on an enriching tour of the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Madinah. This visit is one of the key highlights of their cultural itinerary, aimed at deepening their understanding of the Kingdom's commitment to preserving and promoting Islamic heritage.


During the visit, the guests were taken through various sections of the King Fahd Complex, where they had the opportunity to witness firsthand the advanced technical and administrative processes involved in the production of the Holy Quran. Experts at the complex explained the meticulous procedures that ensure the accuracy, quality, and sanctity of each Quranic copy, underscoring the significance of the Kingdom’s efforts in preserving the Holy Quran. The visitors were also briefed on the translation of the Quran’s meanings into numerous languages, reflecting Saudi Arabia's dedication to making the Quran accessible to Muslims around the world.


At the conclusion of the tour, the guests were presented with specially gifted copies of the Holy Quran as a symbol of the Kingdom's respect and hospitality. This gesture further deepened the guests’ appreciation of the historical and spiritual importance of the complex.


The group also visited the historic site of the Uhud Battle, where they explored Jabal Al-Rumat and the Uhud Martyrs Square, gaining insight into one of the most significant events in Islamic history. The visit to these sacred sites further enriched the guests’ understanding of Madinah’s historical and spiritual legacy, adding a profound layer to their experience during their stay in the holy city.
