2,100 Shelter Kits Are Distributed in Northern Gaza by KSrelief

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) distributed 2,100 shelter kits to 21,000 displaced individuals in Gaza City, alleviating the hardships caused by ongoing Israeli military operations.

Gaza, January 1, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has taken significant steps in providing critical assistance to displaced families in Gaza City, distributing 2,100 shelter kits on Sunday. These kits, which will aid 21,000 individuals, are part of a larger humanitarian initiative launched in response to the ongoing Israeli military operations that have displaced thousands in northern Gaza for over two months.

The Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, the implementing partner for KSrelief in Gaza, has been at the forefront of distributing the aid packages, ensuring that each displaced family receives the essential supplies they need to endure the harsh winter conditions. The shelter kits contain vital items, including blankets, mattresses, cooking utensils, water containers, and other necessary materials to help ease the extreme living conditions many families are facing.

The distribution of these aid packages is expected to continue over the coming days, with plans to reach even more displaced and needy families in Gaza. This initiative is part of a broader public campaign launched by KSrelief, which has been providing continuous support to Palestinian people since the onset of the conflict. This humanitarian effort follows the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The campaign is a reflection of the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to supporting Gaza's residents during these challenging times.
