Idlib, January 16, 2025 – In a continued effort to assist those affected by the devastating earthquake in northern Syria, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully distributed 1,066 food baskets and 1,066 health kits to the communities of Sarmada and Killi in Syria's Idlib Governorate. This distribution provided critical aid to 6,396 individuals, offering much-needed support to the earthquake-affected population.
This initiative is part of the second phase of a larger project by KSrelief, which aims to provide ongoing food and health assistance to those impacted by the earthquake. The project is set to continue through 2025, addressing the pressing needs of vulnerable communities in northern Syria, where access to essential resources remains a major challenge.
The aid provided reflects Saudi Arabia’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian relief, with KSrelief spearheading the Kingdom's efforts to support affected populations both within the region and around the world. This distribution not only delivers immediate food and healthcare support but also emphasizes the Kingdom’s long-term dedication to alleviating suffering and contributing to the recovery of communities in crisis.
Through such initiatives, KSrelief continues to provide vital relief across Syria and other countries facing hardship, reinforcing Saudi Arabia's leadership in global humanitarian assistance and its ongoing efforts to support people in need during times of crisis.
