2,821 food baskets are distributed by KSrelief in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 2,821 food baskets in flood-affected areas of Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, and Hingol in Pakistan, benefiting 18,638 individuals.

Islamabad, January 10, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully distributed 2,821 food baskets to communities in need across multiple flood-affected areas in Pakistan. These distributions took place in the districts of Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan in Punjab province, as well as in the Hingol area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. This initiative, which benefited 18,638 individuals, forms part of the 2025 food-security support project aimed at providing critical aid to vulnerable populations in the wake of devastating flooding.


This project is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to supporting food security in countries facing humanitarian crises. The assistance provided by KSrelief is a vital lifeline to communities that have been severely impacted by the floods, many of whom are among the most vulnerable in Pakistan. Each food basket contains essential items necessary for survival, helping to ensure that families can meet their nutritional needs in the immediate aftermath of the disaster.
