In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Latif Jameel Motors introduced the 2023 Crown, a luxury sedan with sophistication, a roomy interior, and cutting-edge technology and safety features.
The 1955 Toyota 2023 Crown, the company's first mass-produced passenger car, is going back to its roots with a new symbol that honors both innovation and history.
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, The highly anticipated 2023 Toyota Crown was unveiled by Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, a Toyota-authorized distributor in Saudi Arabia since 1955, ushering in a new era of style, sophistication, and cutting-edge technology. The 16th-generation Crown displays the unmatched workmanship and dynamic driving experience for which it is recognized, demonstrating its constant dedication to quality and its deep respect for its history.
The 2023 Crown has raised the bar for luxury sedans, with its exquisite profile and muscular stance enhancing the dynamic driving experience while providing unsurpassed performance, comfort, and safety. The car comes with two eco-friendly powertrains and combines a distinct feeling of beauty and nostalgia.
A front electric motor, the first-ever 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder turbo engine made by Toyota, and a straight-shift six-speed automatic transmission make up the first hybrid electric powertrain. The hybrid electric system is linked with a rear-wheel electric axle that has a high-output, water-cooled electric motor to directly transfer power to the four wheels. With a combined output of 344 hp and 550 nm of torque, these engines guarantee an exciting throttle response and linear acceleration throughout the power spectrum.
The second hybrid electric powertrain has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and two electric motors, together producing 218 horsepower. The fuel efficiency of the hybrid-electric system with an electric continuously variable transmission (e-CVT), which increases driving enjoyment to new heights, is the lowest at 26.1 km/l.
Depending on the speed and driving style of the user, the new Crown model can be driven totally on electricity with no fuel consumption and no exhaust emissions or by combining the power produced by the petrol engine with the electric motor. There is no need to plug in a power cord because the hybrid vehicle's batteries are continuously charged by either the gasoline engine or while braking and slowing down. The hybrid-electric model runs like any other regular car and doesn't need special gasoline thanks to a number of cutting-edge innovations.
