There were 34 sports at the 2022 World Games. The seven of them make up the combat family of the world: Aikido, Jujitsu, Karate, Kickboxing, Muaythai, Sumo, and Wushu. In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, they will compete in the 2023 World Combat Games.
Although there were many distinct principles in the many combat sports and martial arts, one thing was for certain: they were all very well liked. The venues were crowded with spectators, many of whom were seeing top athletes from around the world for the first time. According to martial arts custom, the leaders of the combat sports congregated and assisted one another.
Congratulations to all of the competitors in martial arts and sports in Birmingham; their efforts were truly amazing.
