Sabya, April 30, 2024, The recently concluded 20th edition of the Mango and Tropical Fruits Festival in Sabya Governorate, Jazan Region, witnessed an impressive turnout with approximately 45,000 visitors over the span of the event, running from last Thursday until its conclusion yesterday.
The festival served as a platform for 60 local farmers to showcase their produce, highlighting the diverse range of tropical fruits that the Jazan region is renowned for. Among the fruits featured were mangoes, papayas, bananas, figs, and guavas, showcasing the rich agricultural diversity of the area.
A notable aspect of the festival was the signing of several cooperation agreements aimed at supporting farmers and fostering the development of the agricultural sector within the region. These agreements are expected to have a positive impact on the local farming community, enhancing their capabilities and contributing to the overall growth of the agricultural industry in Jazan.
