The inspections yielded the following findings:We found a total of 21,049 violations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including 13,209 violations of dwelling regulations, 5,177 violations of border security regulations, and 2,663 violations of work regulations.A total of 1,540 individuals attempted to enter the Kingdom illegally over the border, with 43 percent of them being Yemenis, 56 percent being Ethiopians, and one percent being of other nationalities. 42 people who tried to enter the Kingdom illegally were also taken into custody by the authorities.Five people are being held for the crimes of hiring, transferring, and housing criminals.13,013 expatriates are being processed at this time in order to comply with regulations. This group is composed of 1,453 women and 11,560 males.After being detained for violating the law, 5,374 people were told to contact the embassies or consulates of their home nations to obtain official travel permits. Authorities also ordered 2,181 people to complete their travel schedules and deported 1,2943 others.The Ministry of Interior has sent out a warning: anyone who helps people enter the Kingdom illegally, transports them within its borders, gives them shelter, or offers any other kind of support or service, faces a maximum sentence of fifteen years in prison, a fine of up to one million Saudi Riyals, and the seizure of any vehicles used for shelter or transportation.The administration stressed that these kinds of operations are serious felonies that require the arrest of law enforcement.
