25 tons of dates from Saudi Arabia are gifted to the Philippines by KSrelief

The donation is a part of a larger Saudi government program to aid underprivileged families in neighboring countries.



Manila, May 31, 2024. The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) turned over the 25 tons of dates, which Saudi Arabia generously donated to the Philippines. The gift was handed to the secretary of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos, Sabuddin N. Abdurahim, by Hisham bin Sultan Al-Qahtani, Saudi Ambassador to the Philippines, in behalf of the Korean Relief and Relief Organization KSrelief). Phil. Red Cross Asst. Sec. Gen. Ramon Murillo, Phil. Red Cross Asst. Sec. International Affairs Mardomel Celo D. Melicor, and the rest of the KSrelief Team attended the activity last week at the Saudi embassy in Manila. The Saudi government actually initiated the gift as part of an ongoing program to help low-income families in many friendly and friendly countries around the world.
