Madinah, March 4, 2025 – Since the commencement of Ramadan 1446 AH, the Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association has been playing a vital role in providing volunteer services to visitors of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. A dedicated team of 350 scouts, comprising both young men and women, along with 20 experienced scoutmasters, have been actively contributing to ensuring a smooth and respectful environment for worshippers during this sacred time.

The scouts’ presence at the Prophet's Mosque has been invaluable, offering a wide range of services that address the needs of visitors, many of whom are coming from around the world to experience the holy month of Ramadan in Madinah. The scouts are visible throughout the mosque, where they provide assistance to those who may be lost, guide worshippers to prayer areas, and lend a hand to elderly individuals requiring wheelchairs. These volunteers also play an instrumental role in organizing pedestrian crossings, working in close collaboration with various government entities and organizations to maintain order and ensure the safety of all visitors.

One of the notable aspects of the Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts’ efforts is their dedication to managing the flow of worshippers. This includes directing individuals to appropriate prayer spaces, facilitating access for women to designated prayer areas, and offering care for lost children within the mosque. The scouts also serve as a comforting presence, helping visitors navigate the bustling environment of the mosque during the heightened activity of Ramadan.

Beyond their support at the Prophet’s Mosque, the association has also extended its services to the Quba Mosque and surrounding areas, further enhancing the experience for pilgrims. Here, the scout teams assist with managing the crowds and maintaining an orderly and safe environment, ensuring that all visitors can perform their religious duties with ease and tranquility.

The Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association’s efforts during Ramadan serve as a testament to the spirit of volunteerism and community service that is deeply ingrained in the Kingdom's values. Through their dedicated work, the scouts have not only demonstrated their commitment to helping others but also highlighted the importance of organizing large-scale humanitarian efforts during such a significant period.

The association’s involvement in supporting the worshippers at both the Prophet’s Mosque and Quba Mosque is part of a broader initiative to enhance the overall experience of pilgrims and visitors during Ramadan. These selfless contributions reflect the ongoing commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to serving the needs of those who come to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah to observe the sacred month.

The efforts of the scouts have been warmly received by the public, who have expressed their gratitude for the assistance provided, particularly during such a busy and spiritually significant time. The Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association continues to be a shining example of how young people can contribute meaningfully to society, playing a crucial role in supporting the Kingdom’s humanitarian initiatives.
