Riyadh, April 05, 2024, The Saudi Games Organizing Committee has announced the dates for the 3rd edition of the Saudi Games, set to take place from October 3 to 17, 2024, in Riyadh. This announcement was made by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, the Minister of Sports, the Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC), and the Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee.
Prince Abdulaziz emphasized the unwavering support provided by the wise leadership towards the sports sector, highlighting the significant progress achieved across various games as a result of this support. He noted that the Saudi Games serve as a testament to this support, contributing to unprecedented advancements in sports.
Moreover, the economic impact of the Saudi Games is substantial, with the previous edition generating SAR 750 million in economic activity. The prizes offered exceeded 260 million riyals, and the event facilitated the creation of 478 jobs. These figures underscore the significant economic contribution and opportunities generated by the Saudi Games.
