The "Children's Hospitality Sites" initiative provided a secure and pleasant environment for 177 children in 22 different locations in Makkah while their parents performed the Hajj rituals.
The ministry's "Bab Ajeer" platform connected over 16,840 workers with more than 880 businesses, making seasonal employment more accessible, and granted over 42,853 visas through the "Seasonal Visas" program.
Riyadh, June 21, 2024. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) achieved significant success during the Hajj season of 1445 AH by implementing forty programs and services designed to simplify pilgrims' trips and ensure their comfort and safety. One of the most important initiatives was the "Children's Hospitality Sites," which offered 177 children in 22 different locations across Makkah a secure and pleasant environment to stay in while their parents performed the Hajj rituals. Furthermore, more than 1,000 volunteers contributed about one hundred thirty thousand hours of their time to ensure that pilgrims in Makkah, the holy sites, land ports, and bus terminals received over four hundred seventy thousand meals and fifty thousand presents. In order to make seasonal employment more accessible, the ministry's "Bab Ajeer" platform created connections between 16,840 workers and more than 880 businesses. Additionally, the "Seasonal Visas" program granted over 42,853 visas to individuals working in a variety of professions. In order to guarantee regulatory compliance, the MHRSD also took part in emergency committees, oversaw five programs and seminars, kept an eye on four shelters, and conducted over 655 field inspections. a result of these efforts, the ministry has demonstrated its dedication to providing pilgrims with the highest possible level of service while also aligning itself with Saudi Vision 2030 and enhancing the Hajj experience as a whole.
