The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) distributed 408 food baskets to displaced families in Al Qadarif, Sudan, benefiting 2,040 people.

On December 12, 2024, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) made a significant contribution to addressing the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Sudan by distributing 408 food baskets to displaced families in the region of Al Qadarif. This distribution, which will provide immediate relief to approximately 2,040 people, is part of a larger, sustained initiative aimed at improving food security for vulnerable populations across Sudan.

The food baskets are a critical component of KSrelief's comprehensive humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of those displaced by ongoing conflict and unrest in the country. Each basket contains essential food items designed to meet the nutritional needs of families who have been forced from their homes, ensuring they have access to the basic sustenance necessary to survive in difficult conditions.

This aid delivery is a part of Saudi Arabia's broader commitment to supporting Sudan during one of its most challenging periods. Through KSrelief, the Kingdom has continued to play a vital role in providing emergency relief and long-term assistance to the Sudanese people, reinforcing the country’s position as a key player in global humanitarian efforts. The initiative underscores Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian principles, working alongside international partners to address the urgent needs of those affected by the crisis.
