Mopti, January 14, 2025 – In a continued effort to alleviate hunger and support vulnerable communities, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 445 food baskets on Saturday in Mali's Mopti Region. The initiative, part of the Food Security Support Project for 2025, is designed to provide critical assistance to families facing food insecurity. These baskets benefited a total of 2,492 individuals, many of whom come from the most vulnerable segments of the population in the region.
Each food basket contained essential supplies such as rice, flour, oil, and other staples, which are vital for the survival and well-being of families struggling with the compounded effects of poverty, conflict, and the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Mali. By providing these food items, KSrelief aims to ease the burden on vulnerable households, ensuring that they have access to nutritious sustenance during challenging times.
