
Jakarta, March 5, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully distributed 450 food baskets to the most vulnerable families in multiple cities across Indonesia’s Central Java Province, benefiting a total of 1,687 individuals. This distribution is part of the larger humanitarian effort under the “Etaam” Ramadan Food Basket Project for the year 1446 AH, an initiative aimed at providing vital assistance during the holy month of Ramadan.
The fourth phase of the “Etaam” project underscores KSrelief’s unwavering commitment to alleviating hunger and providing support to communities in need. This phase involves a far-reaching distribution of 390,109 food baskets across 27 countries, with the goal of benefiting 2,304,104 individuals. The total cost of this ambitious humanitarian initiative is estimated to exceed SAR 67.064 million, demonstrating the Kingdom’s continued dedication to its global charitable efforts.
The food baskets, which include essential food staples, are part of a broader relief strategy that aims to provide a sustainable solution to food insecurity and poverty during the blessed month of Ramadan. The initiative not only seeks to meet the immediate needs of the affected families but also serves as a symbol of solidarity and compassion during a time when many are in dire need of assistance.
