Beijing, April 4, 2024, A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck 56 km southwest of Puerto El Triunfo, El Salvador, at 07:38:05 GMT on Thursday, according to a report from Xinhua citing the US Geological Survey (USGS).
The earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 56.1 km, initially pinpointed at coordinates 12.89 degrees north latitude and 88.89 degrees west longitude.
