5.2 magnitude quake hits Kamchatka's east coast, reported by GFZ

Beijing, January 21, 2024, on Sunday at 0550 GMT, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences reported a 5.2-magnitude earthquake near the east coast of Kamchatka, according to Xinhua. The earthquake's epicenter, situated at a depth of 10 km, was initially identified at 53.27 degrees north latitude and 160.11 degrees east longitude.
