Dubai, November 26, 2024 – The Saudi Export Development Authority (SEDA), through its "Made in Saudi" program, is participating as a strategic sponsor at the prestigious Big 5 Global 2024 exhibition in Dubai, UAE, from November 26 to 29. This year’s event showcases 55 Saudi companies specializing in the construction and building sectors, highlighting the Kingdom's growing presence in the global construction market.

The "Made in Saudi" program’s involvement in this key exhibition underscores its mission to promote Saudi-made products and services, not only within the Kingdom but also across regional and international markets. The program aims to enhance the visibility of Saudi companies, steering purchasing power toward locally produced goods and services. Through such initiatives, SEDA is working to foster greater economic diversification in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which sets an ambitious goal to increase the contribution of non-oil exports to approximately 50% of the Kingdom’s non-oil GDP by 2030.

The Big 5 Global is recognized as one of the world’s leading events in the construction and building industry, attracting thousands of professionals from around the globe. With over 2,700 exhibitors from more than 60 countries, the exhibition serves as a vital platform for networking, fostering business relationships, and facilitating the exchange of ideas. It draws manufacturers, contractors, project owners, traders, and key decision-makers, providing an ideal environment for launching new products, securing domestic and international contracts, and exploring opportunities for collaboration and expansion.

This year, the presence of 55 Saudi companies at the event is a testament to the Kingdom's increasing footprint in the construction sector. By showcasing Saudi innovations and capabilities, the "Made in Saudi" program supports local businesses in gaining access to new markets, promoting the Kingdom’s construction expertise, and contributing to the diversification of its economy.

Through its participation in the Big 5 Global 2024, the Saudi Export Development Authority continues to play a critical role in elevating the Kingdom's global trade standing and strengthening its position as a competitive player in the international construction and building sectors. This engagement is also a reflection of the Kingdom's broader goals of driving sustainable economic growth, increasing exports, and enhancing its international trade relations.

The event, running from November 26 to 29, offers a strategic opportunity for Saudi companies to showcase their innovative solutions and establish key partnerships with global industry leaders, paving the way for new business ventures and furthering the success of the Kingdom’s non-oil export agenda.
