Akkar, Lebanon, December 28, 2024 — As part of its ongoing efforts to support vulnerable populations in Lebanon, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 560 vouchers for the purchase of winter clothing to orphans and individuals with special needs among the Syrian refugee community in Akkar Governorate on December 25, 2024. This initiative marks the third phase of the 2024 winter clothing distribution project in Lebanon, reflecting Saudi Arabia's commitment to providing vital assistance to those most in need, particularly during the harsh winter months.
The distribution of these vouchers is part of a broader relief and humanitarian effort led by KSrelief, the Kingdom’s primary humanitarian arm, to help alleviate the suffering of Syrian refugees facing the extreme winter cold in Lebanon.
