560 Winter Clothing Vouchers Are Distributed by KSrelief in Lebanon

KSrelief distributed 560 vouchers for winter clothing to orphans and people with special needs among Syrian refugees in Akkar Governorate, Lebanon, as part of the third phase of its 2024 winter clothing project.

Akkar, Lebanon, December 28, 2024 — As part of its ongoing efforts to support vulnerable populations in Lebanon, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 560 vouchers for the purchase of winter clothing to orphans and individuals with special needs among the Syrian refugee community in Akkar Governorate on December 25, 2024. This initiative marks the third phase of the 2024 winter clothing distribution project in Lebanon, reflecting Saudi Arabia's commitment to providing vital assistance to those most in need, particularly during the harsh winter months.

The distribution of these vouchers is part of a broader relief and humanitarian effort led by KSrelief, the Kingdom’s primary humanitarian arm, to help alleviate the suffering of Syrian refugees facing the extreme winter cold in Lebanon. The vouchers enable recipients to purchase essential winter clothing, which is critical to protecting vulnerable individuals, particularly orphans and people with special needs, from the dangerous effects of cold weather.

Through this initiative, KSrelief continues to provide comprehensive support to displaced populations in the region, enhancing their ability to endure the difficult living conditions caused by the cold and ensuring that their basic needs are met. The winter clothing distribution also aligns with Saudi Arabia's broader humanitarian mission to assist refugees and displaced persons, underscoring its commitment to alleviating human suffering and providing vital aid to those affected by ongoing regional crises.

The third phase of this project is just one example of KSrelief’s ongoing humanitarian efforts in Lebanon, where the center has been working tirelessly to provide relief to refugees and displaced individuals through a variety of initiatives, including food, healthcare, shelter, and education support. By providing direct assistance to the most vulnerable groups, KSrelief continues to demonstrate the Kingdom’s dedication to its humanitarian responsibilities and its commitment to improving the lives of those facing adversity in Lebanon and beyond.
