Daraa, Syria, March 20, 2025 – In a significant humanitarian effort to support those in need, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) successfully distributed food baskets to 600 families in Daraa Governorate, Syria, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. This initiative, which is part of the wider “Etaam” Ramadan Food Basket Distribution Project for the year 1446 AH, provided essential sustenance to 3,542 individuals, demonstrating a continued commitment to alleviating the suffering of vulnerable communities across Syria.
The food baskets, which are filled with vital nutritional supplies, have been specifically designed to meet the needs of families struggling with the economic and social consequences of the ongoing conflict in Syria. The project is not only a symbol of solidarity but also a practical means of ensuring that the most marginalized members of society have access to adequate food during the holy month of Ramadan, a time of fasting and spiritual reflection for Muslims worldwide.
