Adamawa, March 17, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully distributed 613 food baskets to the most vulnerable families in Adamawa State, Nigeria, as part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts during the holy month of Ramadan. The aid, which benefitted 3,678 individuals from 613 families, was part of the 1446H Ramadan "Etaam" Food Basket Distribution Project, a key initiative aimed at providing essential sustenance to those in need across the globe.

The food baskets distributed in Adamawa are a part of the fourth phase of the "Etaam" project, which seeks to deliver a total of 390,109 food baskets across 27 countries during Ramadan. This ambitious initiative is set to provide nourishment to 2,304,104 individuals, at a total cost exceeding SAR 67 million. The project underscores Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to humanitarian relief and highlights KSrelief’s pivotal role in addressing food insecurity in regions affected by conflict, poverty, and natural disasters.

In Adamawa, the food baskets contained vital nutritional supplies that will provide immediate relief to the beneficiaries, helping to alleviate hunger and improve living conditions for many families. KSrelief’s assistance is particularly significant as the state has been grappling with numerous challenges, including internal displacement and limited access to resources.

This distribution is part of a broader effort by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to extend humanitarian support worldwide, particularly during Ramadan, a month known for its emphasis on charity and solidarity. Through KSrelief, the Kingdom continues to demonstrate its unwavering dedication to alleviating the suffering of vulnerable communities and promoting global peace and welfare.

The "Etaam" project is just one of many initiatives led by KSrelief to support communities in need across the world, providing critical aid to those facing dire circumstances and ensuring that the spirit of generosity and compassion reaches every corner of the globe.
