Vietnam, September 14, 2023, A team of 80 Saudi businessmen, including over 50 Saudi enterprises, visited Zamil Steel Building Vietnam Co. (ZSBVC) in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi. The delegation also included members from national specialized authorities and institutions. The objective of the trip is to increase trade, investment, and industrial collaboration between the two friendly nations and to look into investment prospects. The delegation's tour of the ZSBVC production lines and observations of the workers' abilities confirmed the Saudi industry's competitiveness in the world market and its sustainability in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which seeks to boost domestic output.
According to Mohammed bin Ismail Dahlawi, the Saudi ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the visit will improve bilateral trade and economic ties.
Dr. Abdullah bin Suleiman Al-Sakran, CEO of the Strategy and Development Sector at the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), emphasized the significance of this visit in examining investment opportunities and boosting the Kingdom's foreign trade, particularly through the Shareek Program, which seeks to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors and increase domestic investments in businesses, thereby bolstering the Kingdom's economy generally.
