96 European horses from Belgium arrive for Longines Global Championship Tour

Riyadh, October 23, 2023, A total of 96 European horses from Belgium arrived at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, set to participate in the final round of the prestigious Longines Global Championship Tour. The Saudi Equestrian Events company (SEEc), owned by the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation (SAEF), has established a dedicated stable for these elite horses at the tournament's headquarters in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).

These horses are among the world's finest and most valuable, making the accommodation and care of utmost importance. The tournament headquarters' stables can host over 300 horses, with strict procedures enforced by the organizing committee to safeguard both the horses and riders. These measures include quarantine protocols, 12-hour sterilization routines, temperature monitoring, regulated training schedules, and designated horse groomers overseeing the stables. To enhance security, surveillance cameras have been installed to ensure the horses' well-being.
