Madinah, May 14, 2024, A Republic of Türkiye planeload of people benefitting from the Makkah Route Initiative arrived today at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, where entry procedures were processed smoothly.
The Ministry of Interior launched the Makkah Route Initiative in 2017, in cooperation with the ministries of foreign affairs, health, Hajj and Umrah, and media, the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the Saudi Data and AI Authority, and the Pilgrim Experience Program, to enhance the Hajj journey.
