The Minister of Media, Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, hosted a dinner banquet for media delegations participating in the coverage of the Hajj season.

Media delegations covering the Hajj season were treated to a supper banquet by Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari.


The initiative by the Ministry of Media seeks to draw attention to the significance of the Hajj season and the efforts undertaken to assist the pilgrims.


The Hajj Media Hub attracts 1,500 media professionals worldwide and offers services to over 150 local, Arab, Islamic, and international media outlets.



Makkah, June 14, 2024. Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, the Minister of Media, hosted a dinner banquet for the media delegations covering this year's Hajj season, which is 1445 AH, in the presence of the Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser; the Minister of Health, Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel; the General Supervisor of the Palestinian Official Media, Ahmed Assaf; and several representatives from the sectors participating in Hajj Media Hub in these districts. The media delegations that were hosted expressed their gratitude for the Ministry of Media's initiative in highlighting the Hajj season as an Islamic obligation that is continuously attended to by the Kingdom's leadership and the various efforts that have been made to serve the pilgrims. The Ministry's desire to strengthen the ties of collaboration and forge new connections amongst media professionals from many nations as they carry out their media missions is reflected in this effort.


The goal of the Hajj Media Hub is to offer a dynamic online space where media professionals may perform their jobs and stay up to date with the Hajj media season of this year. Over 150 local, Arab, Islamic, and international media sources rely on the services of the Hajj Media Hub, which brings in 1,500 media professionals from around the globe. Eleven areas of supportive media are located within the hub, along with an interactive media installation that highlights the services offered to pilgrims. It brings together the many media outlets and experts in one place, facilitating and supporting their work, in addition to offering cutting-edge technologies that encourage increased creativity and innovation. The services that are offered to the Pilgrims have changed and evolved significantly.
