A health minister attends the 60th Council of Arab Health Ministers session in Geneva.

- Discussions focused on enhancing coordination between national health authorities and ministries of health in member countries and promoting collective health activities among Arabs.
Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, the Minister of Health, attended the sixty-first session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers in Geneva.

- The meeting took place during the 77th session of the Public Health Assembly of the World Health Organization.


Among Arabs there was talk mainly about how they could better work together to improve their overall health and also how they could collaborate among themselves so as to harmonize their health programs with those provided by the government of their home countries, hence making it necessary for the ministry of one country to come up with the appropriate approach for addressing this while communicating with another nation that might have the same problems as regards this issue.

May 28th, 2024. It happened on the sidelines of World Health Organization's Public Health Assembly Session Seventy-Seven.


Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi, the Iraqi Minister of Health, presided over the session immediately after Algeria's presidency.


The event discussed means of strengthening the coordination between national health authorities and ministries of health in member countries and increasing the health activities among the Arabs collectively.
