The session, chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, brought together prominent representatives from a wide array of broadcasting unions across the globe. Notable attendees included members from the ASBU, the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB), the OIC Radio and Television Union (OIC RTVU), and the Permanent Conference of the Mediterranean Audiovisual Operators (COPEAM). The primary focus of the meeting was on enhancing international media partnerships, with participants engaging in comprehensive discussions aimed at deepening cooperation across various media sectors. Representatives reviewed the current state of partnerships between broadcasting unions and identified key areas where further collaboration could have a positive impact. The goal of these conversations was to explore new avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation, allowing the member organizations to better navigate the rapidly evolving media landscape.

A central theme of the discussions was the importance of fostering collaborative coordination between media unions on regional and international scales. By sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices, participants agreed that broadcasting organizations could more effectively address the pressing challenges currently facing the media industry. This mutual exchange would enable unions to stay ahead of emerging trends, adapt to technological innovations, and continue to provide high-quality, reliable content to their diverse audiences.
