There was a written welcome issued from the President of Somalia, Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, on the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Dr. Saud bin Mohammed Al-Sati, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, had the opportunity to convey the message to Somali President Mahmoud Dahir Gelle in Riyadh. The meeting took place in the capital city of Saudi Arabia.
During the conference, the objective was to evaluate and improve the bilateral relations that exist between Saudi Arabia and Somalia in a variety of different areas.

The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, extended a letter of greeting to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, about the bilateral relations that exist between the two nations.During a meeting that took place today at the offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Riyadh, Dr. Saud bin Mohammed Al-Sati, who is the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, sent the message to Somali President Mahmoud Dahir Gelle. Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, who is the Minister of Foreign Affairs, was the one who delivered the communications. The purpose of the conference was to evaluate the bilateral links that exist between the two countries and to investigate potential courses of action for expanding and strengthening these relationships across all sectors, including issues that are of relevance to both parties.
