According to the Saudi Ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire, Serving the Guests of God is a Fixed Principle in the Kingdom's Policy.

- The initiative has received positive responses from official, religious, and media bodies in Côte d'Ivoire for two consecutive years, and this year's initiative introduced the use of an enhanced mobile device for collecting biometrics.
The Saudi Ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire, Saad bin Bakhit Al-Qathami, emphasizes that serving God's guests is a key principle in Saudi Arabia's policy.

Saad bin Bakhit Al-Qathami, the Saudi ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire, highlights that one of the main tenets of Saudi Arabian foreign policy is to serve God's guests.


Al-Qathami claims that the Makkah Route Initiative has made it easier for pilgrims to access the Holy House of God.


Official, religious, and media organizations in Côte d'Ivoire have engaged effectively with the program in the last two years; the program this year included use of a better mobile device for biometric collection.


Abidjan, the 4th of June, 2024. According to Saad bin Bakhit Al-Qathami, the Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, serving God's guests is a firm principle in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's policy. This is in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership, which are to utilize all of the state's capabilities in order to serve the pilgrims who visit the Holy House of God."The Makkah Route Initiative has helped to facilitate travel processes for God's guests and the performance of their rites with ease and reassurance," he said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). He also claimed that the initiative has led to the facilitation of travel processes. He went on to say that the initiative had, for the second year in a row, received a wide positive response from official, religious, and media bodies in Côte d'Ivoire.


He also mentioned that this year's initiative was the first to use an artificially enhanced mobile device to collect biometrics from its beneficiaries. Al-Qathami praised the success of the initiative in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire and highlighted the close bilateral connections between the two friendly countries. Al-Qathami expressed gratitude to the Ivorian side for their cooperation in guaranteeing the success of the initiative, strengthening these relations in all categories.
