Recently, Prince Saud bin Khalid bin Faisal, who serves as the Deputy Governor of the Madinah region and the Deputy Chairman of the Hajj and Visit Committee for the region, extended a warm greeting to Major General Dr. Hammoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj, who is currently serving as the interim Director General of Civil Defense. During the discussion, the Deputy Governor received a report detailing the preparations made by the Civil Defense Department to implement the overall emergency plan for the Hajj season of 1445 AH. Furthermore, the report informed him of the vital functions of the Civil Defense Support Force at the Prophet's Mosque and its environs, as well as the continuous efforts to aid and safeguard visitors, Umrah performers, and pilgrims.
