Kabul, January 30, 2025 — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered a significant humanitarian gesture to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, presenting a 100-ton shipment of dates as a gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The official handover ceremony took place yesterday, with Saudi Ambassador to Afghanistan, Faisal bin Talaq Al-Baqmi, representing KSrelief during the delivery. The dates were received by Shahabuddin Delawar, the acting president of the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS), in a ceremony that also saw the attendance of ARCS deputy president Hafiz Azizur Rahman, members of the KSrelief team, and various media representatives.
