After 48 years of continuous contributions, the Grand Hajj Symposium has produced almost 200 scientific papers


For the past 48 years, the Grand Hajj Symposium has been an international Islamic forum emphasizing important concerns in the Islamic world in many spheres.



Since its founding in 1397 AH, the symposium has featured over two hundred scientifically investigated articles.




The symposium seeks to underline successes, initiatives, and advancements for Muslims as well as the Kingdom's cultural and civic contribution in catering pilgrims and Hajj attendees.




Jeddah, June 9, 2024. The Grand Hajj Symposium for the past 48 years has been focused on an analysis of a wide range of issues that are important to the Islamic world in many different spheres, thereby acting as a worldwide Islamic forum that has achieved this feat uninterrupted. Since its inception in 1397 AH, the symposium has presented over two hundred scientifically researched papers. The symposium's goal is to highlight the most significant achievements, projects, and ongoing improvements for Muslims, as well as the cultural and civilizational role that the Kingdom plays in providing services to pilgrims and Hajj pilgrims. They have emphasized the idea of peaceful intellectual discourse on matters relevant to the Islamic nation.


More than a thousand speakers, representing over sixty different countries, have participated in its various editions. The purpose of the symposium is to foster constructive scientific connections with institutions, academic forums, and specialist researchers all over the world. This will ultimately lead to more integration, brotherhood, and familiarity among members of the Islamic community. Furthermore, it has paved the way for the future by scrutinizing the latest struggles and obstacles facing the Islamic world today.
