Casablanca on June 5, 2024. The Makkah Route Initiative employs a diverse array of modern technology to streamline the Hajj process and provide top-notch services. Also, to accommodate the demands of every pilgrim, the Makkah Route Initiative lounge at Casablanca's Mohammed V Airport uses a combination of artificial intelligence and professional solutions. The advancement of facial recognition and fingerprint technology has made it possible for pilgrims to enter and exit the building faster. With a mobile counter device on hand, the Ministry of Interior this year has processed quicker biometrics and pilgrim data. Pilgrim Experience Program—a segment of Saudi Vision 2030— is being implemented by the Ministry of Interior for her sixth year courtesy of Makkah Route Initiative that she sponsors. This process involves the following entities: the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Pilgrim Experience Programme, the Saudi Data and AI Authority, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Health, Hajj, Umrah, and Media, as well as the Tax, Customs, and Zakat Authorities. The Saudi Data and AI Authority, as well as the Saudi Arabian government, are working together on the mission.
