RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, May 30 (UPI) — A performance report by the General Authority of Civil Aviation on Saudi airports identified Riyadh as being responsible in up to 42 percent of airport violations. Evaluating Airports: We Grade On Eleven Operational Performance Standards. These policies are in accordance with strategic goals that aim to enhance offerings and provide passengers flying out of Kingdom airports with a seamless and easy experience. Second place went to the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, which received 73% of the vote.King Fahd International Airport and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport both had a compliance rate of 91%, which placed them in a tie for first place in the category of international airports that handle between 5 and 15 million passengers annually. On the other hand, King Fahd International Airport outperformed its rivals in terms of the percentage of standards it met.Both Abha International Airport and King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Airport in Jizan have simultaneously achieved a compliance rate of one hundred percent in the category of two to five million passengers.
