JEDDAH — In the 11th round of the Saudi Pro League, Al-Ahli secured a 3-1 victory over Al-Wehda, elevating them to the fourth position in the league standings.
The scoring action began with Allan Saint-Maximin's goal deep into injury time during the first half. However, an unintentional own goal by Al-Ahli's Abdulbasit Hindi in the 51st minute leveled the score for Al-Wehda.
In the 68th minute, Roger Ibáñez managed to find the net for Al-Ahli, securing their second goal. Riyad Mahrez extended their lead with a goal in the 84th minute.
The match also saw Alaa Hajji of Al-Wehda receiving a red card in the first minute of added time in the second half.
As a result, Al-Ahli now stands in the fourth position with 22 points, closely trailing Al-Nassr in third place. Meanwhile, Al-Wehda remains in the ninth position with 13 points.
