Riyadh, November 15, 2023, Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi, Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council, emphasized Saudi Arabia's commitment to women's active role in public life during the Reykjavík Global Forum. She highlighted advancements in empowering Saudi women, integral to Vision 2030. Al-Ahmadi noted the Kingdom's focus on women's participation, aligning with Islamic principles. Vision 2030 has brought significant societal changes, creating jobs and increasing women's leadership roles. In 2022, Saudi women held 41% of business sector management positions. Al-Ahmadi stressed women's empowerment for balanced development, respecting Saudi identity and values. She also met with an Armenian National Assembly delegation to enhance bilateral relations. The Reykjavík Global Forum gathers female leaders globally.
