Al-Duhami finished in 82.73 seconds with four errors, while Al-Rajhi had an 85.68 second clocking with six errors.
In the show jumping competition's distinction round, Dutchman Van der Veluten took home the bronze, German rider Christian Cocu took home the gold, and Swiss rider Steve Guerdat took home the silver.

On the last day, thirty cyclists participated in the events, and three of them made it to the distinction round by completing a flawless round. Christian Cocu, a German rider, won the gold in 38.34 seconds, finishing without a single error. After four mistakes and a time of 38.38 seconds, the silver went to the Swiss rider Steve Guerdat. Van der Veluten, a Dutchman, finished the tournament with a timing of 39.12 seconds and four errors, winning bronze.
