Al-Mahrah, Yemen, September 29, 2023, The Kidney Dialysis Center in Al-Ghaydah city, Al-Mahrah Governorate, Yemen, continues to deliver essential medical services, thanks to the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
Throughout the month of August, the center offered its services to a total of 138 patients. Among these, 50 individuals underwent 407 scheduled kidney dialysis sessions, along with five emergency sessions. Additionally, 88 patients received medical assessments at the kidney disease clinic. The patient demographics revealed that 65% were male, and 35% were female. Furthermore, 13% of the beneficiaries were displaced individuals, 86% were residents, and 1% were refugees.
This initiative forms part of the ongoing relief efforts spearheaded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, aimed at enhancing the healthcare sector's capacity and mitigating the hardships faced by the Yemeni populace.
