RIYADH — In the tenth round of the Saudi Pro League, Al-Hilal secured a 1-0 victory against Al-Khaleej on Friday, further solidifying their position at the league's summit.
The solitary goal for Al-Hilal was netted by Aleksandar Mitrović in the 30th minute. This win places them three points ahead of second-placed Al-Taawoun, firmly establishing their dominance. Conversely, Al Khaleej occupies the twelfth spot with nine points.
In another match from the same round, Al-Fateh emerged victorious with a commanding 4-1 scoreline against Abha. Murad Batna opened the scoring for Al-Fateh in the 21st minute, followed by Djaniny's goal just before the end of the first half. Despite Abha's Zakaria Al Sudani scoring in the 55th minute, Al-Fateh continued their dominance with goals from Lucas Zelarayan in the 70th minute and Abbas Al Hassan during injury time of the second half.
This impressive win propels Al-Fateh to the fourth position with 20 points, keeping them in close pursuit of Al-Ittihad. On the other hand, Abha remains in the sixteenth spot with seven points, facing a challenging climb up the league rankings.
