ALQASSIM — In the third round of the Saudi Pro League, Al-Hilal defeated Al-Raed with a commanding four-goal victory thanks to a good performance and total control. Aleksandar Mitrovic, a player for Al-Hilal who had just recently joined the team from English club Fulham, broke the scoreless tie in the 42nd minute. As Salem Al-Dawsari added the second goal from a penalty kick in the 56th minute, the dominance persisted.
In the 69th minute, Al-Dawsari struck once more to give Al-Hilal their third goal. Abdullah Al-Hamdan's goal in the 89th minute gave Al-Hilal a four-goal victory in the waning seconds of the game.
Each club had a player receive a red card throughout the game. After a rough challenge with Al-Hilal midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Al-Raed player Oumar Gonzalez was shown a direct red card in the 76th minute.
Al-Hilal now has seven points after winning, moving them up to third in the standings. Al-Raed, who has yet to score, is still at the bottom of the standings.
