RIYADH — After a convincing four-goal victory over Al-Riyadh in the third round, Al-Ittihad maintained their lead atop the Saudi Pro League rankings. Karim Benzema, a French player for Al-Ittihad, scored his team's first goal in the league in the 17th minute. Abderrazak Hamdallah scored the team's second goal shortly after with a penalty kick in the 25th minute.

Hamdallah scored Al-Ittihad's third goal and his second of the game in the tenth minute of first-half extra time. In the third minute of extra time in the second half, Saleh Al-Amri put an end to Al-Ittihad's scoring run of four goals.
