Hajjah, March 28, 2024, The Al-Jeda Health Center Clinics in Yemen's Hajjah Governorate have made significant strides in providing essential medical services, benefiting a total of 1,663 individuals during the period from February 21 to 27, 2024. This achievement has been made possible through the steadfast support and assistance of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
The medical cases were efficiently handled across various clinics within the health center. Notably, the emergency clinic catered to 823 patients, while the internal medicine clinic attended to 252 beneficiaries. The pediatric clinic provided care to 326 children, and the epidemic clinic addressed the needs of 75 patients. Furthermore, the obstetrics and gynecology clinic served 178 cases, and the obstetrics department assisted 9 cases, ensuring comprehensive healthcare coverage.
In addition to these clinical services, the supporting departments played a crucial role in delivering holistic care. The laboratory department conducted a total of 630 laboratory tests, while the radiology department provided diagnostic services to 166 individuals. The pharmacy efficiently dispensed medications to 1,611 individuals, ensuring access to essential medicines. Moreover, the medical referral clinic facilitated 5 cases, and the surgery and dressing department tended to 89 beneficiaries' needs.
The health center's observation department welcomed 644 visitors, ensuring patient monitoring and follow-up, while the blood transfusion department administered blood transfusions to 27 cases as needed. Furthermore, the health center conducted two waste disposal activities, underlining its commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic environment conducive to healthcare delivery.
These commendable efforts reflect the dedication and commitment of the Al-Jeda Health Center Clinics, in collaboration with KSrelief, to provide quality healthcare services and support to the community in Yemen's Hajjah Governorate, particularly during challenging times.
