Paramaribo, September 28, 2023, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Envoy for Climate Affairs, met with representatives of Islamic organizations in Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname, in the presence of Albert Ramdin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Suriname. The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs is in Suriname on an official visit, and this meeting is a component of that tour. Al-Jubeir reviewed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's initiatives to advance Islam and the tolerance that Islam demands, highlighting the Kingdom's unwavering and profound policy in favor of promoting peaceful coexistence through discussion among adherents of different religions and civilizations. Ambassador Khalid bin Musaed Al-Angari, the director general of the office of the minister of state for foreign affairs, was present at the meeting.
